God of War RagnarokThe Creatures of Prophecy episode features Kratos returning to Vanaheim. However, this time he is accompanied by the cheerful Atreus. Like the previous Vanaheim trip, this mission is a long one with multiple boss fights and lots of collectibles to obtain.

Therefore, this guide will cover the first half of Creatures of Prophecy, primarily concerned with retrieving the moon and awakening the sleeping Skoll and Hati. Don’t worry, we’ll have plenty of time to get sweet treasures while chasing the moon.

Prophecy Creatures

At Freyr’s camp you will begin the Creature of the Prophecy. To get there, go to the gate closest to the camp and follow the route on your right. Once it arrives, it will be barren. However, you will soon be greeted by Hildisvini. If this is your first time returning to Freyr’s camp since you received your spear, there will be a Legendary Chest in the back that you need to claim. Just jump over the lake and open the crack in the wall with your spear to reach it.

Exit the camp by passing through the northern part of the camp. You will follow Hildisvini into the East Berry Woods, until you run into a rock wall with one of these cracks in the wall. Blow through it with your spear and you’ll be able to advance. Now you will follow a linear path, jumping through a gap and going through a rift. After exiting, you will find yourself in the same area where you were fighting the Ancient Guardian. A Stalker will greet you.

Medium Boss Battle: Stalker

Stalker is a version of the Hunter you fight in Midgard at the beginning of the game. However, there are some dramatic differences. This iteration is purely melee-based. His primary attacks consist of an attacking spear stub and a combo where he deals a few horizontal hits at you. It’s pretty easy to dodge all of these attacks. Especially the charge attack.

When using the Stalker melee combo, will occasionally engage in an unstoppable attack. This will always be a vertical swing. You need to ditch this attack. A backward escape will put you in danger. Otherwise, it will try to kick you, just like The Huntress. This is a dodgeable attack.

Halfway through the fight, Wisps will appear and assist the Stalker. However, they are potentially a greater help to you and your cause, as all you have to do is shoot them with a runic arrow and then hit the Stalker to deal massive damage. Just fend off The Stalker and hit him between attacks. When wisps appear, use them to get the job done.

East Barry Forest

After killing the Stalker, cross the water and you’ll encounter a few Nokkens and some Gulons that support them. As usual, you’ll want to start with the Nokkens and then take down the Gulons. Once you’ve finished them, hit the crevice in the nearby wall and climb up and circle around so you can open the Legendary Chest on top of the ruins.

Drive through the cave and then follow the path. You will encounter another stone wall that you can destroy with your spear. Now, when you go through the hole in the wall Only made Look up and to your right. There is a raven in the tree.

There’s a hanging wall on your right that you need to tear down. Use the arrows of the Sigil of Atreus to cast a spell on them and then burn them with your Blades of Chaos. There will be a couple of Tatzelwurms waiting for you. There is a Nokken roaming this area as well. Get the red chest after dealing with them. After emptying the chest, proceed along the main road. However, take the first left and you’ll find a Lore Scroll and a Nornir Chest. Pass the chest and kill the nearby Wulver before you solve the puzzle of the Chest of Nornir. Just so you don’t get in your way.

As for the Nornir chest, when you kill Wolvur, Ialso across the road. You will see a target with the Nornir rune on it. Hit the target with your ax until the C-like rune appears. Now the next target is right next to the chest. Hit it and change the rune to an F look rune. The final (or first, depending on how you look at it) target is to your left just before you enter the structure with the chest. It is covered with grapes. So you’ll need to get Atreus to string a series of hexagons with his Sigil arrows to fire them. Then hit the target and make sure the rune that looks like P appears. This works. Open the chest and get your Idunn Apple

Recovering the Stolen Moon

When you are done with the Chest of Nornir, head back to the main road (you will turn left). Head this way until you meet Skoll and Hati. Unfortunately they will be asleep. And Only The way to wake them up is to get the moon back. Then stagger over the ledge on the right and continue through the woods. You will encounter a familiar poisonous plant puzzle. If you forgot, the solution is to enchant the first poisonous flower with a Sigil arrow and then hit it with your ax; The hexagon allows you to freeze the second flower, keeping the frost effect. After the poisonous flowers you will encounter a small group of Einherjars. Get them out and break the barricade. Read the Wisdom Text written on the wall and then jump down.

You will now be in pursuit of the teleporting Einherjar. You will swing across the water and towards a hut. On your right is a treasure chest. Go down the path on your left. There is a red chest nearby. After receiving the red chest, look for the raised stone platform. From here, slide the rope down. When you go down you will encounter a wall that you can destroy with your spear. Open it and you will be on a battlefield. Wander around and you will eventually be ambushed by an Einherjar.

These Einherjars have a teleport attack. Wherever they are when this attack begins, they will appear directly in front of you. Just be prepared to dodge this blow. It might be a little tricky at first, but you’ll get used to it. There’s also an Einherjar with a whip now. They have a fairly predictable attack pattern. They will nod their attackers over their heads, making it easy to dodge. After clearing the arena, kick the chain and claim the moon from the middle of the arena… that’s what we’d call it if a sneaky Einherjar hadn’t stolen it and teleported.

Time to follow. Follow Einherjar. You will encounter another small group. But don’t move forward yet, there’s another raven in this area: Destroy them before they leave. After killing the raven, go after the thief Einherjar. You will fight another small group of troops. After defeating them, you will see a vent across the road begging you to smash the stone with your spear. Do this, then jump across. You will climb for a while before reaching the top. There will be a forge Einherjar and a Wyvern waiting for you here.

Middle Boss: Wyvern

This will be your first encounter with a Wyvern and these creatures can be quite challenging, especially when paired with a stronger Einherjar. Einherjar will have a second health bar that is immune to fire damage. So, you will have to use the ax to fight them. However, other than that, they are just a typical rocking Einherjar. They look like they can take a lot more damage, but they’re not particularly durable.

Wyvern has a few moves you need to get used to. There are two bullet attacks. Where they shoot three lightning bolts from their mouths will lock onto Kratos and target him. The other is a lightning wave. Both attacks can be parried. Wyvern also has an attack where they take off and attack Kratos. This attack can also be evaded. Finally, they make an attack where they back off and attack you with their beak.

What you probably noticed is, Any attack in Wyvern’s repertoire can be dodge. In general, once you adapt to the timing of these attacks, Wyvern doesn’t matter. Orientation lightning is pretty quick, but before Wyvern lets him tear it apart, it has a very distinct narrative; they raise their beaks and emit yellow light from there. As long as the wyvern is in sight, this attack shouldn’t surprise you. And that’s the key to this battle: you want to start by eliminating the Einherjar, but make sure you can also spot the Wyvern while you fight them. Like him intent it charges you with bullets while fighting with friends.

After defeating the wyvern inevitably, you will be able to claim the moon for yourself. Now it’s all up to Skoll and Hati. Just pinch the crack nearby and you’ll be on your way to them. You’ll have to kill another small group of Einherjars, but you’ll be back among the wolves before you know what happened. Now watch the cutscene and you will complete the mission to retrieve the moon. This is essentially the midpoint of the game’s Creatures Of Prophecy part.
