In this article, we’ll go over how to adjust the length of a race in F1 22. In terms of motorsport, Formula 1 is the pinnacle. Twenty-two international circuits are covered on F1 22’s 2022 schedule. Changing the race’s duration, on the other side, appears difficult.
How to change race length in F1 22?
With its ease comes the ability to significantly change the course of your racing weekend.
- Changing the length of your races in My Team or Grand Prix modes is as simple as following this instruction. The weekend structure can be found in the game’s options.
- Towards the bottom of this submenu, you’ll find the session duration. Changing the length of the race can be done by pressing the left or right arrows on this screen.
- Keep in mind that race length options cannot be changed during an event weekend. Once it’s started, there’s no going back.
What do the different lengths mean?
There are 305 kilometers in a Grand Prix. This can take anywhere from 50 to 70 laps, based on the track you’re on. Race lengths can be chosen from 100%, 50%, and 25% in F1 22 like in previous games in this series (full, long, and medium). The number of laps you complete will change depending on the percentage you set for the race length. When making decisions, however, we must keep in mind that every decision we make changes the number of pit strategies we have to make.
